Ladies that Lunch is thrilled that Liz Jackson, MBE is supporting our chosen charity, The Hunger Project by being the inspiring guest speaker at its special event. This takes place in the beautiful Orangery at Blenheim Palace. Starting with an exhibition and informal networking at 10:30am, there is a 2-course lunch at 12:30, followed by Liz, then information about and a prize draw in aid of The Hunger Project.

Entrepreneur, 'Secret Millionaire' and mum, Liz Jackson is inspirational and her story is extraordinary. Her business achievements speak for themselves as Liz’s company, Great Guns Marketing, goes from strength to strength; a company she started in 1998 aged 25 with no money, no advanced education and rapidly failing eyesight.

Liz is now totally blind but continues to build her company into the UK’s leading business to business telemarketing force. Today, Great Guns Marketing turns over more than £2.5 million, growing at a rate of over 45% per annum and has four regional branches in the UK and Ireland.

In 2007, Liz was commended in the New Years Honours and awarded an MBE by the Queen for services to business. Liz was acknowledged not only for her achievements in business but also for setting an incredible example to others and being a real inspiration.  Liz appeared in the autumn 2009 series of 'The Secret Millionaire' when she went undercover in Lewisham, south London to see what organisations in the local area had to offer people with impaired vision. Liz's relationship with both the Lewisham Talking Newspaper and Tideway Sailability continued after the filming, and became much more than just giving money.

This event is an opportunity for Ladies that Lunch to give back and contribute to future entrepreneurs in the developing world through The Hunger Project.
